Description
A delicious and easy-to-make strawberry oatmeal that is perfect for breakfast.
Ingredients

- 1 cup water
- 1 cup milk
- 3 cups chopped strawberries (divided)
- 1½ cups rolled oats
- 1 Tbsp sugar or honey
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- In a blender, blitz together water, milk, and 2 cups of the strawberries until evenly blended. Reserve the remaining 1 cup of strawberries.
- In a medium saucepan, combine blended strawberry mixture and rolled oats. Set over medium and bring to a gentle simmer. Cook for about 5 minutes, or until liquid has been absorbed and oats are cooked through.
- Stir in remaining strawberries, sugar, vanilla, and salt. Serve warm.
Notes
- Feel free to adjust sweetness according to your taste by adding more or less sugar/honey.
