These delicious puff pastry knots are filled with garlic, parsley, and cheese, perfect as an appetizer or snack.

- 1 large egg
- 1 Tbsp water
- 1 (17 ) package puff pastry (thawed)
- ¼ cup minced garlic
- 2 Tbsp chopped fresh parsley
- 1 cup shredded Italian cheese blend
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400ºF. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
- Unroll puff pastry sheets onto a lightly floured surface and roll them into 10-inch squares.
- Brush one sheet of puff pastry with an egg wash. Top the egg wash with chopped parsley, minced garlic, and shredded Italian cheese.
- Place the other sheet of puff pastry over the garlic mixture, then press it down with a rolling pin.
- Cut the pastry into 20 strips. Tie each strip into a knot and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown. Sprinkle with parsley or fresh basil.
Notes
- Ensure the puff pastry is completely thawed before use.
- For extra flavor, you can add other herbs or spices to the cheese mixture.
