Description

A delicious marinated sirloin steak bowl with sautéed vegetables and rice.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb sirloin steak
  • 2 cups bell peppers (sliced)
  • 1 cup zucchini (sliced)
  • 1 medium onion (diced)
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tsp grated ginger
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 2 green onions (chopped)

Instructions

  1. Slice sirloin steak into strips and marinate in a mixture of soy sauce, minced garlic, grated ginger, and sesame oil for at least 30 minutes.
  2. While the steak marinates, prepare the bell peppers, zucchini, and onion.
  3. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and sear the marinated steak for 3-5 minutes on each side until browned.
  4. In the same skillet, add the vegetables and sauté for about 4-6 minutes until tender-crisp.
  5. Assemble your bowls by placing cooked rice at the bottom and topping it with seared steak and sautéed veggies.
  6. Garnish with chopped green onions and serve warm.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, let the steak marinate longer if time allows.
  • Feel free to add any additional vegetables you like.
