Description

Delicious cheesy beef tacos made with fresh ingredients and seasoned perfectly.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar and Monterey Jack mix)
  • 1 cup diced bell peppers (mixed colors)
  • 1/2 cup diced onion
  • 2 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Sour cream or salsa (for serving)

Instructions

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked. Drain excess fat if needed.
  2. Add diced onions and bell peppers; sauté until softened (about 5 minutes). Season with chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. On a clean surface, lay one tortilla flat. Spread half of the beef mixture on one side and top with shredded cheese.
  4. Fold the tortilla over like a taco and heat in a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Cook for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy.
  5. Slice into wedges and serve warm with sour cream or salsa.

Notes

  • Feel free to customize the toppings to your liking.
  • These tacos are best served warm and fresh.
